Timing is indeed everything. With the election of Donald Trump, I brushed the dust off my TDG in 2017, hoping that a few people would realize how broken this system is--and want to do something about it. I was wrong.

As for young people (and older people), I sense that many have bought into magic wands as solutions. We are losing our understanding of civics. Even the TDG will require collaboration, which usually does not happen automatically or quickly.

I need to find some paying work. When I do, my Medium time will be curtailed.
