To better understand this article, I decided to go to Wikipedia to get a better handle on the terminology. The wiki article had so much terminology that I would need a week to study if there were an exam. So I didn't get smarter in this regard.

The Penguin's article is much about youth going through various phases as they try to figure things out. Sometimes their preferred solutions have valid roots. But sometimes those roots are quite shallow--and more valid reasons have been masked over. Not being a trained psychologist, I certainly cannot tell the difference. And even the trained psychologists often cannot find agreement if Person A is or is not.

In the end, we all have life challenges to navigate through. We make our best guess. My solution is that we wait for as long as possible before making the big changes.
