I did recall your name as someone who I have talked with before. However, exact details of our discourse are escaping me.

I was working on an internal party election, helping a friend to win the contest. Part of our campaign was to visit party members for a short time to earn their vote. My job was to be the "bad cop" who would cut the meeting short, because we had other party members to visit.

On one of our 15-minute visits, I realized that the party member cannot possibly know my friend well enough to cast a wise vote for or against him. The visit was shallow presentation of who he really is.

I then realized that most voters know very little about the candidates on the ballots. We are almost voting blindly.

I kept thinking and thinking about this blind voting. From that musing, my TDG was somehow created----in my mind. Putting the words down was the big job.

I have been working on this project since 1997.
