To get my engineering degree, I had to pass 48 courses, which comes to six course per semester.
The degree required four courses from the humanities side. Engineers like taking Roman history from Professor _______. Why? Because he gave out multiple choice tests and no written papers. One need take a quick look at his tests from previous years to get the answers. No need even to go to his class, which were mostly Prof ___________ just reading from a textbook. He kept his cushy job because he gave engineers what they wanted.
Sometimes I think engineers and other professions should spend their first semester with just the humanities.
