Today, the province of Alberta has become the Covid hotspot of Canada. Why? Because too many Albertans want the free-dumb not at wear a mask or ask their government for a few lockdowns. "Let the people make their own decision," said the Alberta premier.
THere are a few too many "I don't-care-about-the-others" here in Canada too.
It would have been interesesting if we could have stopped all America news at the border in the past four years. Mr. TRump has his supporters here too.
From what I am understanding, we could have shrunk this disease with responsible mask-wearing, social distancing, and selective social outings. A small price to pay for a year or two of minor inconvenience.
But we need to ask ourselves, how did we get to be so uncaring?
Maybe our systems of governance have something to do with it?
