Todd: Last night, I had to rescue my son three times. He climbed too high on a piece of playground equipment and could not get down. I had to wonder why he couldn't figure out that this climb was too much for him.

In a like manner, humanity is doomed to repeat its mistakes as it learns. The USA is not that far away from a "brownshirts" society.
