Too many people in my life are not cognizant (or willing to be cognizant) of their consumer decisions.

I was on the board of our local recycling association for six years. One of the frustrations is that there is little government initiative to improve our recycling techniques. We are recycling the same way as we were 20 years ago.

We need a new way of governance.
