Unemployment benefits in Canada top out at 55% of the previous earnings. So there is incentive to find another job.

Another reason is that maybe people have learned to live with less during this pandemic. Why take a crappy job when benefits are still coming. I hope the USA has a time limit on how long benefits last.

Methinks this is another sign of the American system breaking down when unreasonable unemployment laws get passed. Congress seems to be preoccupied with other things these days.
