How do we turn our collective vision around?

Part of my ulterior motive on Medium is to interact with political writers and present my idea on an alternative democracy. Almost two years and not much to show for my effort. The political junkies of the left persuasion seem to think they can accomplish their vision within the confines of western democracy. They don't need to hear about a new way.

Are you more open minded?

Or maybe should I be asking: "What the chances of the USA moving in your direction with a political system that gave Mr. Trump the top job?"
