Unfortunately we will be back in Afghanistan.

Three reasons why our nation building efforts failed:

1) Iraq should have been left alone, concentrating resources on Afghanistan.

2) We brought in far too much corruption, especially with civilian contractors.

3) Our own democracies have enough corruption to make every decision influenced by this corruption. In other words, we are not exactly thinking in a right mind either.

Hopefully the next time, the west will have tossed out its partisan democracy and can find sensible people to be in government. Follow my byline in interested.
