Unlike other political forums I've participated in, the political side of Medium has an alternative motive. Many of these writers see a future reasonable paycheck for their efforts. So that's we why see the same kind of articles day-after-day.

They may tell us that they are hoping a few right-wing lurkers find their articles and change their minds after reading them. But this is a poor use of their time.

I read an article from the Atlantic that describe lefties. who pretend to be conservatives on conservative forums. They have interesting ways of playing with the radical conservative minds, sowing all sorts of doubt. Now those people are changing a few minds. And they are altruistic!
