Until the USA stops mythologizing its own history, it cannot move forward. The founding fathers were not saints. The constitution was not a work of god.

The USA was the first nation to really enforce property rights — and that had an immense social impact on how this nation developed into a powerhouse.

And there was social-economic mobility in the USA circa 1800. A few people from the lower classes could rise higher; Europe did not have this feature.
