Vancouver Police are reporting organized break-ins of businesses that have been shut down. This is likely to increase.

I did catch one analyst saying that when the hospital cases of Covid-19 decrease, the government will lift some of the business restrictions. This should then induce a new round of infections resulting in the hospitals being full again. We may have to go through this cycle several times — until everyone has been exposed to this virus and we get our “herd immunity.”

CBC reported a woman in Calgary, about 40 years old. She was scheduled for cancer surgery. But this has been cancelled as hospitals prepare for Covid-19. Without the surgery, she is likely to die.
