Water treatment plants on reserve land are a problem in Canada as well. They make the news too often, and the real reason for the problems are not given.

The First Nations people are in different stages of development. Some do a pretty good job with their water treatment plants.

If nothing else, we are learning that it takes several generations to fix these kinds of problems.
