Well done. I travelled through this region in 1992. My Czech girlfriend said these people speak a dialect that is half-Czech/half Polish. I could definitely hear a big difference on the train between the Czechs and Teschens. She said the Teshchens wanted to rejoin Poland.

But definitely a good lesson in here. Be careful what you push for.
