Well done piece. I hope Medium takes in these perspectives as it struggles to find that balance.

But in the end, it is Medium's decision. And we on the outside only have the freedom to stay or go or to limit our time.

As for high-profile writers leaving Medium, all I can say is that should help my work get on more feeds.

As you know, I am offering an alternative democracy--and Medium readers so far do not want to hear about this new way. Dystopia, anti-Trump, & bash the Biden administration seem to be the way to get traction on the political side of Medium.

As my time on Medium has passed, my traction has gone from low to very low. Maybe I am being appropriately punished? I do have the freedom to move on.
