Well, it's good you have some agreement.
My city (Brooks, Alberta), which is really a town, has an interesting solution. They put up about 10 solar-powered radars that display speeds of oncoming cars. I would say that most people are staying pretty close to the speed limit these days. Not many tickets issued.
However, the better-than-average drivers with $70,000 4x4's, complete with the power noise and power payment options, are still a problem.
Maybe you and your wife should get a vehicle with a less aggressive psyche.
