I often muse at how well traffic works. If there was no trust between drivers, then it would not make much sense to venture out with our automoblies. Yet 99.99 of us are following the rules 99.99% of the time, so this makes it easy for us to anticipate THEIR actions. WHile it is still prudent to have some vigilance, all the trust helps us get from Point A to Point B. Can you imagine if commercial ventures actually took over all aspects of roads and streets?

Between my ears, I have a new corporate model in mind. The current corporate model is investor focused. In my model, the focus is shared between investors, employees, customers, suppliers, and philanthropy. Profit is still part of the picture, but it is shared more equitably. Its focus is not to make people rich, but to better ensure various stakeholders can afford to play their part. Even investors will benefit in the long term. But I need time to write this book.
