Well, that was a fun read!
In this Foundation series, author Isaac Asimov prophecized that democracy has a shelf life of two to three centuries. Then it falls in on itself. Society reverts back to some kind of oligarchy.
Another Medium contributor, Allen Milne Lees, predicted three more presidential elections before the collapse. He might be right.
Time to build a new system
