Well that was an article that needs a lot more traction.
The wealthy don't get it. To enjoy their wealth, they have to depend many low wage workers to provide goods and services for them.
A friend of mine had a sailboat in the Caribbean. When he was working in the Canadian oilfields, his boat was stored in a marina and guarded by a low-wage security guard (or two or more). If he and other boat owners had paid that watchman a reasonable wage, they wouldn't be able to afford their boats. And of course, when my friend comes to enjoy his boat, he needs low wage hotel and restaurant workers.
The rich just don't get it.
