Well, that was an article you don't see on Medium every day. I thinks it's good for Medium readers to hear about the fears the other side has.

In 1969, Canada moved its medical system from private to public, thereby moving a significant part of economy into the realm of "socialism." That was 51 years ago. Canada has not yet set up gulags and genocides.

I attended one of the Black Lives Matter protests in my town. I noticed some pretty fancy outdoor audio equipment, complete with a technician. I could only ask: "Who is really paying for all this?"

One thing I like about this article because it brings awareness of the funding of social movements. The documentary "Hypernormalization 2016" posits that the Russian government funds protests of all sorts to give the impression law and order in breaking down. Then the government steps in to break up the protests, thereby saving the day. We may be having the same sort of nefarious funding today (or soon will be).

It is time for a new way.
