On CNN at the start of this round of protests, one analyst said that USA has about 250,000,000 police /citizen interactions a year. Very few of them end up in a George Floyd scenario. I did not hear this fact being brought up again; my wife is kind of glued to CNN these days.

The recent shooting in Atlanta was wrong. But it would not have happened had the fellow just took the handcuffs and spent the night in jail. But it is politically incorrect to mention that!
