Well, you got me trying to remember where "missed it by that much" came from. I'll just let this boomer brain chug a little longer.

I spent six years as an active member in a political party. It's not hard to understand why so many normal people stay away from politics. Sociopaths have a more open field to participate when much of the compettion is scared away. Politics is more about playing a game than bettering society.
