When a person is not thinking straight because of some kind of mental illness, that person is unlikely to turn to a source of good advice and seriously consider what that source is saying. Only when the person hits some kind of “bottom” will the person ask for help. But the help has usually been available long before that bottom was hit.
In a like manner, if a society has some mental illness, it too will not seek good advice. Instead it will try to fix things by itself, believing somehow the old ways are still good.
Tiered Democratic Governance has been available for the public for almost 20 years. It is about a new way of electing our representatives. The fact that society cannot even be bothered to inspect is testament to how mentally ill our society really is.
