When I first joined Medium five years ago, there were quite a few articles on tribalism. I was able to see how we "enlightened westerners" had really not risen above the people who we think we are better than.

Then this topic seemed to disappear. At least from my feeds.

Thanks for bringing "tribalism" up again. We do indeed need to extend our tribal instincts to include everyone.
