While I may not have very good things to say about the Democratic Party overall, there are a pile of bills the Democratic-led House of Representatives has passed sitting there useless because the self-identified grim reaper in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, refuses to even hold a vote on them. This refusal is not only “doing nothing”, it’s actively going against the will of the American people who elected the legislators that passed the bills.

Actually I have encountered this perspective a few times from Canadian news. If the average American is not hearing about it, blame the American media. Mr. Trump and his epithets are more newsworthy than workings in Congress, regardless of the political leaning of the reader/viewer.

But I doubt the average Trumpling will believe the actions in Congress even if they do hear it.

If we don’t like this political situation, I do have a solution.
