While many of will believe that the prosecution of Donald Trump is going too slow, the decision makers have to deal with the possibility that Mr. Trump can assemble and rile up a bunch of yahoos at any time. This "power" of his is affecting their decisions.
Should we put more energy into spurring the prosecution on?
Or should we put that energy into building a system where the likes of Mr. Trump will not be viable contenders in elections?
Methinks those of us on the outside have little influence on the prosecution. That history has already been decided. But building the new democracy is all in their hands.
