While tHe degree of preparation for January 6 is yet to be determined, there has been one puzzling scenario to January 6 that I have not got any resolution toward. Maybe you have some insights.

Given the demographic that was at the protest, why were there no guns begin carried--or even fired? I find it somewhat astontishing that all these people decided to keep their guns at home or in their hotel room. That almost had to be orchestrated.

A little gun battle would have been a good excuse to declare martial law. That would have suspended the EC certification vote.
