While tiny houses may be a sign of too much income inequality, I think people should have this option and make their own choice. As a single person, I could live in one of these units. But with two kids, forget it.
And as other commentators have mentioned, our expectations have changed. 50 years ago, most kids shared bedrooms with siblings. Nowadays, it is a goal of many families to give each child their own room.
