While we are going through our schadenfreude, nothing fundamentally has changed. Carson will be replaced by someone else just as good. He will likely find another media outlet to espouse his views, bringing his followers with him. He can blame his firing on the deep state. . Or he may take his millions and retire to obscurity, reminding other wannabes of their version of the American dream.

American democracy is truly sick. It is time for another democracy, a democracy that can handle big money and big media.
