Wonderful synopsis, Henryk!

My working style is slow, but get things done right. Employers have been frustrated with me. Sorry, I just can't do fast and keep up the quality.

So I may be one of those mediocre employees. Unfortunately, most of us are not going to turn into the stellar workers the world wants us to be. The business world just has to accept that it needs to be accommodating of mediocre employees.

And I often work alongside employees who seem to be doing the bare minimum to earn a paycheck. I quit trying to compare myself to them. Rather I find things to do for my employer in slow periods, even though I might be slow.

I used to be a libertarian. When I figured out that I would not have been educated if my father had to pay all my school expenses, I dropped that philosophy rather quickly. The government has a big role in shaping society. It needs to tax the entities that seem to benefit from that shaping.

I read Atlas Shrugged when I was about 20 (my libertarian days). But I can't seem to remember much about it. Time to look at it again.
