Writing is just a very competitive field. There aren’t enough readers to make every Medium writer happy.

The lady who has written at least 10 articles about her affair with a married man is doing quite well with her large following and thousands of claps. But we shouldn’t blame the Medium algorithms: Medium readers have made a choice.

Today, I ran into a few good articles that have been around a couple weeks and not even got 10 claps. That makes me feel better.
