Yep. I have a few stories I could tell about political dysfunction. Had I managed to reach "middle management" I might have had a few more.

I believe I harbored a few vestiges of psychopathy in my younger day. This may be part of the reason why I stayed in politics as long as I did. Politics is quite exciting at the ground level. A fun game to play!

I think I've worked most of my psychopathy out and certainly have a stronger sense of empathy than before. So I believe society can train these people, but it should also put them in positions where the harm they could cause is minimal. But from my experience, the door is wide open for these people to enter politics.

We need an electoral system where the "game players" can be weeded out.
