Yep, we have to consider how our current opinions have been shaped by nefarious forces. It is plausible that many of us are thinking in the wrong way because of it.

These international situations are difficult to find the truth. All we can hope for is that we have the best people in the rooms that make decisions and they are working with sound international analysis when making those decisions. Western democracy does not have a stellar record in this regard.
