You are probably in a better place to know where the current research of economics is at. I'll just give a couple of examples of where the research should go:

1) Is it cheaper to put 10 families on a Universal Basic Income than to house one inmate in a prison?

2) Why is that a father who spends spare time in the pub is more valuable to the GDP than the father who spends time with his kids?

I wonder how the "neofuedals" would answer these questions.
