You are so correct. If we leave things to chance, the people won't have much say.

My apologies in advance if I have already given you this blurb. If so, here it is again:

I recently read a book by a prominent political scientist. Reading between the lines, individuals in the profession are positioning themselves for future influence. When a societal/political collapse occurs, the prominent political scientists and temporary holders of power will create a new system for us. The people won't have much say.

The TDG takes that path away. But a small minority of people need to start building it.

When a system of governance is built by the people--and not by an elite--it will be more accepted by the people.

The TDG requires about 10 hours a month from its early builders. This would be a lot less than time spent on the Buffalo Party.

Is there a guarantee that the TDG would work? Nope.

But neither is there a guarantee that the Buffalo Party would work either. And I predict that this party will just evolve into a party that behaves like Democrats and Republicans.

Both paths have risk of amounting to nothing. There is less sacrifice for the TDG. And it can go beyond western democracy. The reward is so much greater.
