I had an editor for 12 years who was often reminding me when my writing was negative (different than what you are suggesting). Eventually she got me trained to spot this in advance.
I not in a position to afford an editor any more.
Medium is my 10th internet internet forum I have tried to promote the TDG. I have learned that soft pedalling this topic does not work. If I don't challenge the thinking, I tend to be easily ignored.
My premise is that:
1) Western democracy is broken and cannot be repaired.
2) We, the people, have to build this new system.
3) If we don't, sinister forces will build their new system for us.
4) We have been conditioned in the ways of complaining, protesting, and voting as our way to participate in democracy. The actions were never really that great, but they have become less effective.
No matter how gently I present these topics, people even on the reasonable side of politics will take them harshly.
If I throw them out, for sure, the TDG will go nowhere. I will happily cast aside popularity to get a few TDG workers.
