Your Kent State comment was very appropriate. There is a big difference.
They are already finding a lot of American involvement in the "trucker's freedom protest." CBC is interviewing Canadian truckers who are totally against the protest/blockade. This movement does not have a lot of support, even among truckers.
And we just had an election six months ago. Canadians were happy with current vax & mask rules. Otherwise they would have elected someone else.
The issues are irrelevant. On both sides of the border, a significant minority is getting ready to run their countries their way. Too many people are pawns in this revolution.
I believe Mr. Trudeau is handling this issues reasonably well. He is sounding tougher, probably just waiting for a little more public opinion to come on his side and the protesters to build their own noose a little tighter. I'm expecting his father's famous quote soon: "How far will I go? Just watch me".
